The Isle of Man is used to the roar of bikes during the TT fortnight, but one place that'll be unusually quiet this year will be Mooragh Promenade in Ramsey

That's because it's been announced the Ramsey Sprint won't be held in 2025.

So why will a TT staple in the northern town be absent?

To find out, Manx Radio spoke with Trevor Duckworth - head of the event's organisers, Straightliners - who also give his views on the future of the occasion
