Mike Trimby remembered

On Friday, September 8th, MotoGP announced the passing of Isle of Man resident Mike Trimby.
The 74-year-old was the founder and Chief Executive of IRTA, part of the quartet, which, along with Dorna, the FIM and MSMA, control the Motorcycle World Championship Grand Prix series, now more commonly known as MotoGP.
In March 2023, Mike was awarded the Royal Automobile Club's prestigious Torrens Trophy.
At the time he spoke to Dave Moore about his honour in getting the award and his love of living in the Isle of Man.
