It's been perfect weather this last week or so, as far as TT organisers and holidaymakers are concerned, but spare a thought for the Island's farmers.

It hasn't rained much, if at all, for around three weeks now and dry and sunny conditions, for too long, can have a knock-on effect on the yearly yield of milling wheat.

It's feared another week or so of this weather could have a serious impact.
