We come to the end of the section of 'The Fairy-Faith in the Celtic Countries' in which American scholar W Y Evans Wentz recounts some of the stories he heard on his visit to the Island in 1909. He also collected in the other Celtic countries, and the result was an Oxford PhD thesis which he subsequently published in 1911.
