Bob Carswell delivers a weekly programme of great Manx Gaelic broadcasting and entertainment. William Gell takes us to Kirk Braddan, where he remembers Parson William Drury. Then we go off up and over the hill to Tromode Mills and Cronkbourne, the home of the late William Fine Moore, MHK, whose son was the well-known Arthur William Moore, by that time Speaker of the House of Keys. From there it's up to Willaston Manor, the home of the Attorney-General George Alfred Ring, before coming back into Douglas to Marathon, the home of Samuel Harris, first Chairman of the Douglas Town Commission in 1860. Meanwhile, our tale in Manx is of a would-be infanticide, but as he himself is only six, his efforts have more effect on him than on his sibling.
