The Isle of Man Astronomical Society has started opening its doors to the general public, with one night per month set aside to show people round, talk about what they get up to, and have a look at some of the equipment. The first one of these Nights at the Observatory was held on 30 October 2020, with the second on 27 November, and more planned in the new year. On Monday July 6th the ancient parliamentary history of the Isle of Man is being celebrated, as it is every year, on Tynwald Hill at St Johns.
