He has passed the baton to musician friend and trad music fan John Barker, who is already doing a sterling job of making the show his own. Christy caught up with him to find out what we might expect from the show in the coming months.

Manx fiddle player Isla Callister, now living in Scotland, chats to Christy DeHaven about 'A Drop for Neptune', the stunning debut album by her group 'Trip'. We also hear about her other musical endeavours, including her first - very successful! - ventures into singing. Pop trad group Mec Lir are Manxies Tomas Callister, Adam Rhodes and Dave Kilgallon with Greg Barry from Scotland on drums. Together, they make 'a magical cocktail of beat-up trad music that will make you DANCE.' This week, they released their debut full length album 'Livewire' - which went straight to the top of the iTunes World Chart.
Christy caught up with them a few days before the release and, bearing in mind their EP was released back in 2014, her first question had to be: why did it take them so long to get the album out? Tom took that one on!

Manxie Christine Collister and her musical pals Helen Watson, Chris While, Julie Matthews and Melanie Harold first sang together as Daphne's Flight 25 years ago. Their celebratory tour may have had to be postponed to next year, however their brand new album 'On Arrival' was released as planned on May 1st and is available now from DaphnesFlight.com.
