Isle of Man Meats says it is 'really disappointed' to see a post from a local butcher criticising stock availability on Island.Lee Mayers took to Facebook this week, saying stock has been 'missing on a regular basis'; adding that as a result, he will be looking into getting meat from the UK instead.He told customers he put an order in last week to be delivered today but found 'most of the order missing'.But Isle of Man Meats' Managing Director Rebecca Miah told Manx Radio butchers were pre-warned.

The commodore of Peel Sailing Club says he is 'angry' at the decision not to renew the lease on the building after 2028. Roger Cave says it's operated from the site for 40 years and disputes claims it was built in line with the development of the marina. Club president Harry Owens says they heard rumours of the closure last year and it was formally confirmed to them in March. It's hoped they'll reduce after therapists achieve higher qualification.CBT has had one of the longest waiting lists for a number of years, but it's hoped the waiting times are now going down for this type of therapy and for the service in general. In April 2023 71% of people on the CBT waiting list had been waiting three months or more but by April this year that had reduced to 50%. It's hoped this will go down to 25% as a result of these therapists achieving their diplomas.

Sarah Vondy, who is studying public health, conducted a survey with 568 women aged between 45-55 about dealing with menopause in the workplace.
She found more women employed in the corporate sector felt support as opposed to women in government roles.
Miss Vondy also believes there's still a misconception around menopause which some labelling it "a taboo".
The opening of the new Liverpool ferry terminal is "in the hands of the Steam Packet" according to the infrastructure minister.
Last week it was confirmed that the state-of-the-art facility wouldn't be ready for passengers in time for this year's TT.
Building work began five years ago and the cost of the project has soared from around £30 million to over £70 million.
The terminal can't be used until berthing trials, which began in March, have been completed.
