Plans set out to begin decarbonisation of Island's electricity generation

Manx Utilities believes electricity demand on the Isle of Man averages at 40 megawatts, and peaks around 75MW in the winter - but can also fall as low as 25MW at night during the summer.

Climate activists are hailing the announcement 'really positive'.
