Two former Castletown MHKs are calling a public meeting following the decision by Castletown Commissioners to permanently pedestrianise Market Square. Richard Ronan and Tony Brown say they have tried to meet with the local authority to find out why they're making the move - they believe there are 'no justifications' for it. The meeting, which the commissioners have been invited to, is planned for Thursday 28 November 2024 at 7.30pm in Morton Hall. Local Democracy Reporter Emma Draper has been speaking to them:
