The treasury minister has announced a number of projects will get funding within this Budget.

 

• While no specific funding has been allocated to improving Port St Mary High Street, Treasury says it will consider a full budget allocation once a business case has been fully scoped and costed.
• Alex Allinson says he shares the frustrations of the area's MHKs and constituents with the time it's taken to present plans for the new Castle Rushen High School. While the £3.2 million funding for the design and feasibility of the replacement is said to be 'well underway', Treasury has committed to present a fully costed capital scheme to Tynwald for approval later this financial year.
