The treasury minister has announced a number of projects will get funding within this Budget.
- £11.4 million has been earmarked to build the sewage treatment facility for Peel, which will end the discharge of raw sewage into the sea.
- A project to upgrade the Kionslieu reservoir in Foxdale has been brought forward, and while a specific figure for funding hasn't been given, the Pink Book says it's had funding approval to formulate a fully scoped and costed business case to be considered for full project budget allocation.
- A total of £67,000 will be spent on Peel Marina and River Neb catchment.
- East Quay in Peel is getting a further £11,000.
