Beth and Howard were live from the Baillie Scott Wing at University College Isle of Man as they host the first inter-island skills test for students studying construction here in the Isle of Man and also at Highlands College in Jersey.
Over 70 students from University College Isle of Man (UCM) and Highlands College Jersey, are competing against each other to determine the best amongst them in a range of trades: painting and decorating, plumbing, bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, electrical installation, and horticulture.
The event is raising funds for a number of charities who Beth and Howard spoke to, details of the charities below:
