Beth and Christy continued their Village Hall Series this afternoon, broadcasting live from Arbory Parish Hall.
They spoke with a scutch of different people from the Parish, who use the Hall for everything from Fencing to Ballroom Dancing, Thai Chi to Judo. Their guests included Sir Miles and Lady Mary Walker, 'Dancing Bob' Richardson, Captain of the Parish Raymond Gawne, Noel Cringle, Ann Cottier from the WI and Brian Rae who looked ahead to Laa Columb Killey, the oldest running Parish fair.
There was also music from the brilliant Arbory School Choir and the WI Hand Bell Ringers led by Mary Cringle.
There are plenty of videos on our Facebook page and Youtube channel, including footage of the exclusive post-show 'party', where we all had a lovely ballroom dance!
You can listen back to the full programme at this link for the next 7 days, and catch up with the Extra Helping Exclusive Podcast - which includes wonderful reflections on times past in the Parish from Sir Miles Walker, Brian Rae and Raymond Gawne and Beth and Christy learning how to play the hand bells at this link.
