On Air Manx Radio Breakfast Ben Hartley | 6:00am - 9:00am

Late Lunch listen again: La La Land!

Back at the Laxey and Lonan Allotments today, following up from Tanya's recent television success on BBC Gardener's World. She told us all about the experience, sharing some back stage tidbits too, before showing us the latest developments on the plot.

We picked gooseberries and redcurrants, checked out the calendula that Tanya uses in her beauty products and she told us how to make simple salve and bath bombs from the nature around us.

We also looked at succulents in terrariums, ahead of a workshop she's running with Ashley Bentley at the weekend - go to Lovely Greens Facebook to find out more.

Also today, we caught up with Bob and Sue Moon, allotment regulars, to check out the incredible progress they've made on their plot new. And, in the Potcast today, the pair updated us on their fascinating bat project - listen and subscribe to the Potcast here

Listen back to today's entire programme at this link for the next 7 days.

We're back tomorrow with some midweek Mindfulness for you; in the meantime, don't forget to check out Tanya's Gardener's World feature on iPlayer here, and you can hear her own 'behind the scenes' interview with Frances Tophill on our social sites here
