On the programme today, Christy and Sarah were joined once again in the studio by lovely Donna from Paracise Isle of Man. She talked about how Paracise is for anyone of any age and any ability, also about how there is now an Evening Class for anyone who works during the day but would still like to attend; that class is at Glencrutchery School Hall on Tuesdays at 6.30pm (first class is free!) Donna will be at Nobles Park on Saturday afternoon giving a free demonstration class; find out more on her Facebook Page.
Donna also took us through another lovely gentle routine, this time to the music 'I Won't Dance' by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. You can watch the routine on our channels below.
Also today, we caught up with Paracise Founder and creator Sarah Goldsack, who reminded us how and where it all began, talked about the future for Paracise and shared her own extraordinary story. You can listen to the full interview via our Podcast Page here.
Our Soul Starter today was Carole King's 1971 hit 'I Feel The Earth Move'; and the Jukebox was a little bit different.. it was on this day that Ringo Starr made his first appearance as a drummer at the Cavern, playing with the Eddie Clayton Skiffle Group. So you had the choice between Beatles Ringo (Yellow Submarine) and solo Starr (I Don't Come Easy)
Finally today, following on from our Charity of the Week the RNLI, we heard from Michele Farrar about Port St Mary Lifeboat Day on Sunday, with loads going on from 1-5pm. Find out more on their Facebook Page here.
You can listen again for the next 7 days at this link.
