On Air Manx Radio Breakfast Ben Hartley | 6:00am - 9:00am

Late Lunch listen again: Charlotte Morley

We were joined today by Charlotte Morley, who has set up "The Little Loop" which will provide kids & maternity clothes with a difference... By renting rather than selling their high quality and ethical clothes, the plan is to save you money, time & space - while helping to save the planet too.

Charlotte is holding some focus groups on Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 3pm at the Bradda Glen Cafe, so if you're interested in finding out more or sharing ideas or feedback of your own, you are very welcome to attend.

Find out more about the project via the Facebook page and website.

We were also joined in the studio by a very special little penguin... Hawking the Penguin is with us all this week, representing the Manx Workshop for the Disabled who are our Charity of the Week. You can see him in the video below, perching on the microphone.

He has also had (and will have) some adventures while he's been with us; last week he visited Laxey and Lonan allotments with Tanya Anderson, and he even got to go on the trains at Groudle, where he was right at home with Polar Bear!

Find out about the Workshop via their website and Facebook, and we will be hearing more about them all this week on the show from Sean Connick

We heard how Christy and Howard got on with last week's Moghrey Jedoonee Challenge and were set our new one, to find out more about Laa Luanys...

Our Soul Starter for today was a No.1 in the UK on this day in 1974 for The Three Degrees, with 'When Will I See You Again'

And our Jukebox celebrated the birthday of bass player John Deacon from legendary group Queen, and the outright winner from the three Deacon-penned songs was 'I Want To Break Free'

If you missed any of today's show you can listen again at this link for the next 7 days.
