Davey Todd records fastest lap of TT 2024 so far

Afternoon qualifying session roundup

It's been a busy day of qualifying action already today (31 May), with another session to be held this evening.

Roads, with the exception of the Mountain Road, will be open until 6pm.

Davey Todd's recorded the fastest lap of TT 2024 so far, with a speed of 133.942mph.

Todd told Radio TT: "I said the other day I was so surprised with 131.9 that we did in that last session because we actually went the wrong way with the setup.

"So I said to the boys 'we'll go back to the setup that we had before', and I knew straight away we could go a lot better ... I didn't expect that really."

Peter Hickman and Michael Dunlop set the second and third fastest speeds of the afternoon; achieving 133.851mph and 132.728mph respectively.

Dean Harrison's speed of 132.143mph puts him fourth on the afternoon's leader board.
