Harmer responds to Peel Road concerns
The infrastructure minister claims having more fast food outlets on Peel Road in Douglas could actually improve traffic flow.
Plans for a KFC and a Starbucks on the former Eurocars garage site are currently under consideration.
Douglas Borough Council Leader David Christian says congestion on the road at times is bad enough as it is thanks McDonalds being there, without more outlets being added, and says many people have contacted him saying they agree.
But Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer disagrees:
