Yeardsley looking forward to NW200 debut

Manxman planning busy racing schedule in 2025

Manx road racing competitor Joe Yeardsley says he's looking forward to the prospect of making his North West 200 debut this year.

The 2023 Senior MGP winner was one of 12 riders who took part in this year's newcomers induction at the Triangle circuit earlier this month.

Outside of TT and Southern 100 commitments in 2025, he's also keeping an eye on potential developments for road racing events in Republic of Ireland this year.

Yeardsley thinks if they're to happen, racing there could be a benefit to both competitors and the local communities:

A busy 2024 saw the Laxey man make his maiden TT appearance in the Supersport and Supertwin classes with a best finish of eighth in the Supertwin TT Race 1.

He also claimed a podium place on the Snaefell Mountain Course last year when he secured third place in the Ultra-Lightweight race.

In a recent switch he was also signed by the Scott Racing team for whom he'll ride their Supertwin machinery this season.
