Australian racer to line-up for Lion Heart Racing
A new team will join the line-up for TT 2025.
Lion Heart Racing is set to make its debut at the event this year.
The team - owned and managed by Dwayne McCracken - has announced Australian rider Julian Trummer will compete in all four 1000cc races for the side.
The well-known face around the paddock has completed 24 races out of 29 and has picked up 21 bronze replicas since his debut in 2017.
Trummer said: "I’m chuffed to bits about this whole new project and having met Dwayne at last year’s North West 200 we gelled immediately."
Lion Heart Racing will field Trummer on Kawasaki ZX-10RR machinery in the Milwaukee Senior TT, RST Superbike TT and RL360/PE Superstock TT races.
Team owner McCracken has more than 20 years of experience in the sport including a period working with John McGuinness and Yamaha during which they won the Formula One TT, Superbike TT and Senior TT races in 2004 and 2005.
He said: “After fighting back from serious illness, and being given a second chance, I needed something to focus on so, with motorbikes being my passion, setting up a new team seemed the right thing to do."
As well as contesting the TT the team will also aim to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer and, specifically, the NIPANC charity that has supported McCracken through his illness.
