Lucas Martin described as 'amazing friend' and 'fantastic footballer'
Tributes are being paid to former youth footballer on the Isle of Man, Lucas Martin, who has died at the age of 21.
The news was announced by his former clubs, Marown AFC and Douglas Royal earlier today (15 September).
Marown have described Lucas as a 'fantastic footballer, but most importantly an amazing lad and friend to so many'.
Elsewhere, another of his former teams, Douglas Royal, have also paid tribute describing Lucas as a 'genuinely lovely person' and a 'fantastic player'.
Both Marown and Douglas Royal will hold a minute's applause ahead of their respective matches tomorrow at 2.30pm.
