The top of the table clash in CFS Division Two ended in stalemate on Saturday.
Third placed Pulrose and second placed Michael drew 0-0 in a hard-fought contest at Groves Road – a match not helped by the conditions and a result which left the visitors the happier and both sides still well adrift of leaders Colby whose match was postponed.
The Lovett brothers were the stars as Marown won 3-2 at the Police – a Ricky Lovett double and a Jeremy Lovett penalty securing the points.
Elsewhere, Onchan consolidated fifth spot with an excellent fightback to defeat Foxdale.
Trailing 2-0 at half-time, the home side won 4-2 thanks to goals from Mark Wolfenden (two), Dean Gough and Declan Murphy.
Braddan’s goal-getter David Kinrade netted another two and was joined on the scoresheet by Michael Wheeler and Wil Smith as Braddan moved up to sixth with a 4-2 win at Ramsey Youth Centre.
However, the division’s bottom club gave them a battle, holding them to 1-1 at half-time.
Mark McClurg and Martin Murphy were the home scorers.
