Supertwin TT Race One cancelled

It follows rider advice on course conditions

Tonight's Supertwin TT Race One has been cancelled.

It comes following the solo warm-up lap and sidecar shakedown with riders advising that conditions around the TT Course are not suitable for racing.

The Clerk of the Course has confirmed that this evening's race will not take place as a result.

Davey Todd, who went out on a warm-up lap, told Radio TT he didn't think it should go-ahead:

All roads around the Snaefell Mountain Course have now reopened.

A new race schedule has now been issued for tomorrow (5 June).

On Wednesday, roads around the course will close at 10am with the Mountain Road shutting earlier at 9am - roads are then due to reopen no later than 4.30pm.

The first part of the session will be a solo warm-up lap at 10.30am followed by the Supertwin TT Race 1 at 11.45am over three laps.

Next at 2pm will be the three-lap Superstock TT Race 1 before the Rutter Legacy Parade Lap at 3.45pm.

The two races previous scheduled for tomorrow - the Supersport TT Race 2 and Sidecar TT Race 2 - will be rescheduled in due course.
