Special Olympics football coach says it's an 'honour' to train team

Side took on the likes of Juventus and Arsenal 

The head coach of the Isle of Man Special Olympics football  team has said it is an 'honour' to coach the team after playing in the Special Champions League. 

Pete Corkhill was with the side that went to Belgium over the weekend (4 - 7 October) to play in the event. 

European giants such as Juventus and Arsenal were at the event, while nations such as Italy and France also took part. 

The Island side played the Italian club side in a place game but narrowly lost 1-0. 

Unfortunately the team suffered defeats in their group games as well, but did manage a 7-2 win over Arsenal North London United in their final game of the weekend. 

Coach Corkhill says it means everything to him that he can take the side to competitions like this:
