Snooker: Darryl Hill wins fourth Grand Prix

Manxman wins again in repeat of last year's final

Manx snooker player Darryl Hill has won the Mann Crane Hire Grand Prix again after he beat Michael Curphey on Sunday.

Hill dominated his way to win 8-1 in a repeat of the 2024 final, where the reigning champion beat Curphey 8-4.

The highlight of the final came in the fifth frame as Hill stroked his way to a 117 break, almost a complete clearance, but he failed on his attempt to sink the pink ball.

Curphey's only win in the game came in frame six, but the damage had already been done and Hill bounced back to win the final three frames.

Hill has now won all four editions of this invitational event which is made up of the top eight players from the current IOM Billiards and Snooker Association ranking list.
