Snooker: 2024-25 Isle of Man season to begin this evening

Cue Zone Blinders chasing third straight title

The 2024/25 Isle of Man snooker season will get underway this evening (9 October).

Six fixtures are scheduled to be held for gameweek one with 13 teams in total contesting the Manx Car Store Snooker League this campaign.

Cue Zone Blinders will be looking to claim a third straight league title this season and they'll start with a potentially tricky away tie at Finch Hill Musicians A.

Meanwhile, last season's runners-up St Olaves begin things at home against Finch Hill Musicians B.

There will also be two new teams in the division for 24/25 - Snooker Bar-barians and The Miscues.

They'll start out the season with away fixtures at Finch Hill Rockets and The Hurricanes respectively.

Isle of Man Billiards & Snooker Association adds - given the odd number of teams in the league this time around - a 'bye' system will be in place each week.

As a result, Cue Zone Masters have a bye this weekend.
