Pair confident in ability to compete at the sharp end next year
Sidecar competitors Michael Russell and Jake Roberts have announced they will be teaming up for next year's Isle of Man TT Races.
The duo revealed the update whilst discussing their plans for 2025 on Manx Radio's 'Journey to a Dream' podcast.
Both had separate duties at TT 2024 before linking up to take on the sidecar class at this year's Southern 100 in July.
What's more, there's confidence they both have the ability to be challenging the best at the TT if everything falls into place:
When it came to racing on Island this year, Russell contesting the Sidecar TT class alongside Vicky Cooke where they were a retirement in race two and non-starters in race one.
Meanwhile, Roberts was passenger to sidecar legend Dave Molyneux at TT 2024 with both securing a podium finish in the second sidecar race in third.
A few days later, 17-time TT winner Molyneux then announced his retirement from racing.
Russell and Roberts then combined as driver and passeneger at the Southern 100 Road Races on the Billown Course from 8-11 July.
They were declared in third place in the shortened first sidecar race there before being a retirement in the Sidecar Championship event.
