Former Island resident not considered for selection this time

Former Island resident Bevan Rodd has been left out of England Rugby's squad for next month's Autumn Nations Series.

Men's head coach Steve Borthwick's 36-man training squad for the tournament was revealed this week with Rodd among seven individuals not considered this time around.

Elsewhere, five of the 2024 Isle of Man Sportsman of the Year's Sale Sharks teammates have been called up.

Ben & Tom Curry along with Lewis Cowan-Dickie have been picked in the forwards; Tom Roebuck is selected in the backs and George Ford is brought in whilst he continues his rehabilitation from injury.

England's first match of the series will be against New Zealand at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham on Saturday, 2 November kicking-off at 3.10pm.

They will then take on Australia a week later on 9 November before a showdown a week later with South Africa on 16 November with both of those also at the same venue.

Rodd earned his first England call-up in 2021 under former head coach Eddie Jones for the autumn internationals that year against USA and Canada.
