Northerners cap off impressive season
Hockey - Ramsey A put in a fine performance to beat Valkyrs A and leapfrog them in the PwC Mixed Premier League last night.
First half goals from Nat Smith, Christina Kermeen and Thomas Tsitsos were enough to give the home side victory.
Karmina Kovanda got on the scoresheet but it wasn't enough for Valkyrs who will now finish below Ramsey in the table - despite having one game still to play.
Ramsey guaranteed themselves third spot to cap off what has been an impressive first season back in the top flight.
