The 2011 Manx Grand Prix is a few days away and Isle of Man residents are being encouraged to consider marshalling at the event.
Practicing gets under way on Saturday, with roads around the course closing at 5pm.
At least 500 marshals are needed for racing to take place and the Grand Prix is more dependent on local volunteers than the TT festival, which attracts hundred of volunteers from the UK and further afield.
On Talking Heads today (Wednesday), vice chairman of the TT Marshals' Association Gordy Moore said numbers were generally looking fairly healthy, but finding marshals for the mountain section of the course was proving more difficult:
Hockey: Under-14 boys heading to England Championship final
TT 2026: 20-year-old to make debut this summer
Hockey: Under 16 girls beaten in England Championship Semi-Final
Rugby: Island ladies selected for UK side
