MGP 2024: Team Grantham Lodge confirms three-rider lineup

Browne, Hardisty and Hodson to mount charge on classic races

Team Grantham Lodge has confirmed it'll field three riders as it targets success in the classic racing at this year's Manx Grand Prix.

The New-Zealand based team will once again support double MGP podium finisher Mike Browne who'll be joined by Rhys Hardisty and Rob Hodson.

Browne and Hardisty will take part in the Classic Senior race on ES2 Norton and Velocette machinery respectively.

Meanwhile, Hardisty and Hodson will be part of the Classic Junior event - reintroduced for 2024 - on Velocette and 350cc AJS 7R machines respectively.

Team Principal, Peter Lodge says: "The pinnacle for many bike racers is to compete on the famous Isle of Man Mountain Course and to say it left an impression would be an understatement.

"You can be assured the Kiwis will be pushing hard for good results at this iconic event."

Last year on board the team's Manx Norton Browne made it back-to-back third place finishes in the Classic Senior class having managed the same outcome in 2022.

Elsewhere, Hodson managed a top-ten finish in eighth during the 2023 showdown on a 500cc Ruthless Racing Honda.
