Eleven peaks to climb
The Isle of Man Marathon Ultra from Ramsey to Port Erin takes place today.
Competitors start from Market Square in Ramsey - 7.30am for those expecting to take more than eight hours and 8.30am for the rest of the field.
Ahead will be 11 of the Island's highest peaks including North Barrule, Snaefell, Greeba, South Barrule and Cronk Ny Arrey Laa ("Cronk-near-ree-lay")
The full distance is 50.5kms but there is a shorter 22km race starting from St. John's from noon.
