Laxey aim for fifth straight win

Canada Life Premier League surprise package Laxey are hoping to continue their fantastic start to the season this weekend.

After almost being relegated last season, The Miners boast a flawless record, topping the table as they head into their match with Rushen tomorrow.

Rushen twice fought back in the Old Firm last weekend to share the spoils with Peel, and Liam Cowin's side will be hoping to inflict Laxey's first defeat of the season.

Reigning champions St Marys are also hoping to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season.

They're firm favourites to get the points when they host a Douglas Royal outfit who are still to get off the mark this year.

Elsewhere in the top tier of Manx football, Douglas Athletic entertain Marown, Ramsey make the trip to Ballafletcher to face Corinthians, and Pulrose meet Old Boys.
