Hutchy Grabs UGP Pole(2)

The man who dominated this year's T.T. will start Saturday's Ulster Grand Prix from pole position.

Ian Hutchinson celebrated his birthday by putting his Padgett's Honda at the front of the grid for the weekend's international Superbike race by going fastest at this morning's final practice session around the Dundrod circuit.

The Bingley Bullet set a fastest lap speed of 131.003mph (Conor Cummins holds the outright circuit lap record at 133.284mph).

Sharing the front row will be the Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing pairing of Bruce Anstey and Cameron Donald - Anstey recorded 130.626mph and Donald set 130.243mph.

Ryan Farquhar is 4th with his time from last night but blew an engine in this morning's qualifying - he does have another which should be fitted in time for this afternoon's Dundrod 150 races.

Keith Amor is 5th and, having changed his mind about not racing the big bikes, Guy Martin is 6th.

Manx rider Dan Kneen will start from 18th on the grid at 125.740mph.

Keith Amor is on pole for Saturday's Supersport races with an impressive 127.282mph and will share the front row with William Dunlop and Michael Dunlop respectively.

The second row will be Ian Hutchinson, Cameron Donald and Bruce Anstey. Dan Kneen is 13th at 122.340mph.

There is racing this afternoon with the Dundrod 150 meeting. Keith Amor is on pole for the Superbike races followed by Ryan Farquhar and Ian Hutchinson.

Dan Kneen is 19th on the grid.
