Report by Ben Cunningham:

In the Mixed Premier League, the big game of the weekend sees Bacchas A play Vikings A - this clash always has a high tempo to it and is always a thrilling match which sometimes cannot see the two sides being split or one side winning it by a late goal... could we see this again? Both sides come into this game with perfect starts and not dropped any points.

Elsewhere the other team with a perfect start is Valkyrs A who lost in the cup last weekend they play Harlequins A who last year did give the westerners a good test when they met both times; down south Castletown Celts welcome Valkyrs B who would love to get some points on the board, and finally Vikings B play Bacchas B in what could be a very close match.

In Mixed Division One, Ramsey A - who had a mixed bag of a start to their season - welcome Valkyrs C who have also had the same start to their season.

League leaders Bacchas C will be hoping they can keep their spot at the top when they play Vikings C, and Vikings D - who managed to get their first win of the season last time out in league action - play Castletown Southerners who are keeping hot on the heals of any mistake by Bacchas C to take that top spot off them.

In Mixed Division Two, Harlequins B who are flying at the top of the league at the moment and scoring plenty of goals as well meet Castletown Cushags who will be hoping their defence can keep Harlequins' strikers out.

Two sides that have had the same form so far in their season meet each other this weekend as Valkyrs D welcome Ramsey Ravens hoping that the northerners don’t take the points back north with them; finally, Bacchas Colts play Castletown Cammags in what looks set to be a very evenly-matched game.

In Mixed Division Three, Bacchas Mixed Bucks play top of the table Castletown Cosney who will be looking to keep their perfect start going.

Harlequins C who were held by Bacchas Mixed Bucks to a goalless draw play Vikings E who will want to put last weekend's Bowl match defeat behind them; finally, Ramsey Rookies play Castletown Carrick in what looks to be a very evenly-matched game. Bacchas D have a rest week this weekend.

Finally in the Mixed U15’s League, Castletown Sharks play Harlequins; Bacchas meet Vikings and Castletown Sabres play Ramsey. This league yet again is looks to be just as entertaining as it was last year with lost of young Manx talent coming through all the junior teams from each club.
