Report by Ben Cunningham:
The first game of the weekend is the Mixed Plate which sees Castletown Southerners play Valkyrs C.
When you look at how both teams have performed in the league they have been in Southerners will be hoping they can go and get the double as they won divisions one after taking the title off Bacchas C in the final two weekends of league action.
As for Valkyrs C they had a mixed bag of season but towards the end of the league season they went on a good run of results and were challenging the top times in division one.
Your umpires for this game are Jamie Brown and Kim Carney with Peter Foxton as Hockey Umpire Association Official push back is 11.05am.
The second game of the day is the Mixed Cup between Vikings A and Bacchas A.
Looking at how both teams performed Bacchas finished top of the Mixed Premiership and unbeaten all season.
Vikings finished second in the league and were keeping Bacchas on their toes all season.
When these two-side met both meetings were played at a very high pace and end to end will the final be just the same?
Your umpires for this game are Emily Middleton and Paul Hunter with George Powell as Hockey Umpire Association Official - push back is 1pm.
The final game of the day is the Mixed Bowl final between Harlequins B and Valkyrs D.
Harlequins will hoping they can go and get the double as they secured the division two title and completed their season unbeaten and scoring plenty of goals in the process.
However for Valkyrs D league action wasn’t too good for them and sadly they were relegated for division two however they have had a good cup run to make up for the disappointment in the league.
Your umpires for this game are George Powell and Louise Corkill with Gareth Roome as Hockey Umpire Association Official - push back is 3pm.
If you are looking for something to do this Saturday (30 November) get on down to the NSC and watch what will be a fine display of Manx hockey and the atmosphere will be great as well.
As well as the final action we always have some rescheduled matches taking place as a result of them being cancelled last weekend due to the weather disruption last weekend.
