Hickman thanks FHO after parting ways with team

TT lap record holder says he's 'forever grateful' to Faye Ho's squad

TT star Peter Hickman is thanking FHO Racing for his time with them after officially parting ways with the team this week.

Yesterday it was confirmed he and Davey Todd have split from the crew and will instead form the new BMW-supported 8TEN Racing team which will launch later this month.

In an update to fans, Hickman says FHO will always be a 'huge part' of his career and is 'forever grateful' for the opportunity.

For 2025, FHO Racing is shifting its focus onto the British Superbike Championship (BSB) with one rider, new addition Ilya Mikhalchik.

In a short statement, Hickman adds more news on he and Todd's new setup is coming soon and that 'to say I'm excited is an understatement.'

Yesterday, BMW Motorrad UK announced the team changes and formation of 8TEN Racing in what it calls a restructure of its motorsport lineup.

Having joined FHO in 2020, Hickman first raced at the TT for them in 2022 and since then has taken seven wins on the Snaefell Mountain Course on FHO machinery, including two Senior TT victories.

In 2023 he and the team set the outright lap record around the course as the rider clocked 136.358mph in the Superstock TT Race 2.

Elsewhere, Todd had only signed for them in November 2024 after winning the 2024 Senior TT and Superstock TT races with Milwaukee BMW.
