The Island's resident taekwondo star, Aaron Cook, claimed gold at the Pan-American Open in Mexico over the weekend.
He put in a series of dominant performances, beating players from Mexico 15-3, Canada 16-4, USA 14-5, and Costa Rica 12-3 in the final to win the competition, and the best fighter award.
Victory also brought him ten world ranking points, and five points towards Rio 2016.
