Football: Six combination teams make it two wins from two

Second batch of midweek matches held last night (Results: 4 Sep)

Six teams across the combination leagues in Isle of Man football have made it two wins from two during the first midweek fixtures of the 2024/25 season.

Wednesday night saw eleven matches held across Canada Life Combination One and Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Combination Two following the opening matches of the campaign last weekend.

In Combination One, defending champions Ramsey made it back-to-back victories at Peel whilst there were also second wins for St John's United and St Mary's, the latter of whom go top on goal difference.

Meanwhile, only two sides have taken six points from their first two outings in Combination Two - Colby claimed a 4-2 win away at southern rivals Castletown whilst Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.) were victorious at home against Governors Athletic.
