Football: Premier league top two both on the road

Both Div 2 title contenders also on their travels this weekend (Fixtures: 23-24 Nov)

The top two sides in both the Canada Life Men's Premier League and Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 are on their travels in Manx football this weekend hoping to keep up their current momentum.

Top-flight leaders Ayre United - who dropped points again last week in a 3-3 draw at Ramsey - go to Laxey whilst Peel in second - now just three points behind Ayre - head to St John's United.

It's a similar story in the second tier as just three points separate Division 2 leaders Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.) at the top and Braddan in second.

'Old Boys' are away at Douglas Royal whilst Braddan visit Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.).

Elsewhere, Sunday sees the new-look Canada Life Women's Floodlit Cup continue with two games in Division One at The Bowl in Douglas.

Corinthians take on Malew whilst Peel and Douglas Royal face off.
