FA begins search for new development officer
The search is underway to find someone to spearhead the future growth of women and girls football on the Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man Football Association (IOMFA) is on the hunt for a new Women and Girls Development Officer to, they say, help 'shape the future of women's football at a pivotal moment in its history.'
The permanent 35-hour-a-week position would come with a £28,000 salary with a number of key responsibilities to cover.
These would include driving more playing opportunities at clubs and in communities; ensuring the sport is safe and inclusive for female players to participate and supporting plans to increase the amount of female coaches and referees on Island.
Furthermore, the association adds it's looking for someone who can 'identify, empathise and with and work to remove the hidden barriers for women in football.'
Anyone interested in applying for the position can do so online with the deadline for applications on Thursday, 31 October.
