Key cup competition dates also announced
The fixtures for the 2024/25 Isle of Man football season have now been confirmed.
The Isle of Man FA has announced the schedule of league matches for all senior men's clubs across the Canada Life Men's Premier League, DPS Ltd. Division 2, Canada Life Combination One and DPS Ltd. Combination Two for the latest upcoming campaign.
The first league fixtures of the new season will take place on Saturday, 31 August and currently run up to Saturday, 15 March 2025 - there are then contingency slots throughout the campaign for any matches which may be rearranged.
Meanwhile, the first of the cup competitions of the season - the Plum Properties Railway Cup - will commence with the semi-finals on Saturday, 7 December with the final then penned in for Boxing Day (26 December).
Shortly after the turn of the year, the opening preliminary rounds of the Ecap FA Cup and GH Corlett Woods Cup are due to be held on Saturday, 4 January and Saturday, 18 January respectively.
Elsewhere the Manx Quality Sheds Hospital Cup preliminary stage starts on Saturday, 5 April 2025 with the preliminary curtain-raisers to the latest Ascot Hotel Junior Cup taking place the day after (Sunday, 6 April 2025).
There will then be a double-header of finals on 2025 Easter weekend at The Bowl in Douglas with the GH Corlett Woods Cup final on Good Friday (Friday 18 April, 2025) followed by the Ecap FA Cup final a day later on Easter Saturday (Saturday, 19 April 2025).
May next year is due to feature the finals of both the Manx Quality Sheds Hospital Cup and Ascot Hotel Junior Cup on Saturday, 10 May 2025 and Saturday, 17 May 2025 respectively.
No dates have yet been given for the Paul Henry Gold Cup competition.
