Football: Corinthians and Peel targeting four straight prem victories

New women's and masters seasons to also start this weekend (Fixtures: 14-15 Sept)

Corinthians, Peel and Ayre United go into this weekend's latest Isle of Man football fixtures as the three Canada Life Men's Premier League sides till boasting a perfect start to the season.

Targeting fourth straight victories, Corinthians travel to Laxey whilst Peel are on the road at Onchan among the Saturday ties getting underway at 2.30pm.

Ayre United meanwhile have back-to-back wins and looking for a third at home to St George's.

Elsewhere, three teams also maintain 100 per cent starts in Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 at this very early stage with two of those also in action tomorrow.

Braddan - top of the table with three wins in three - are away at Douglas Royal whilst Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.) - currently two wins from two - welcome Malew to Blackberry Lane.

All fixtures on Saturday across the Men's Premier League, Division 2 and both combination leagues are scheduled to kick-off at 2.30pm.

Crucially elsewhere this weekend also sees the start of the 2024/25 women's football and masters football seasons on Island on Sunday (15 September).

In the Canada Life Women's League, last season's champions Peel are at home against Onchan and in the other tie Corinthians host Malew - both getting underway at 2pm on the day.

Meanwhile there are three ties in the Masters - Governors Athletic vs Ayre United and Peel vs Corinthians, both taking place at The Bowl whilst Laxey will play host to Colby vs Laxey
