Braddan head to the summit of Division 2 (Results: 14 Dec)
Both Ayre United and Peel required last-gasp winners at the weekend to secure their places in this year's Plum Properties Railway Cup final during the latest Isle of Man league and cup fixtures.
In a nip-and-tuck contest at Andreas Playing Fields, Ayre United's Shaun Kelly netted a winner in the third minute of second-half stoppage time to see them earn a narrow 3-2 win over Laxey.
Meanwhile, Peel scored twice in the final three minutes to snatch a 4-3 win at Corinthians in a breathless encounter at Ballafletcher.
This year's Railway Cup final is scheduled to take place on Boxing Day (Thursday, 26 December).
During the latest league encounters across the divisions on Saturday, there was a nine-goal thriller in the Canada Life Men's Premier League as Ramsey edged out Union Mills 5-4 at Garey Mooar.
Elsewhere, Marown's top-flight struggles continued with a narrow 2-1 defeat away at Rushen United who move six points clear of the relegation zone.
In Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2, Braddan moved top of the pile with a comprehensive 4-1 home victory over Douglas Royal.
Braddan overtake Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.) whose game at Malew was postponed due to an unfit pitch.
There was also a goal-feast down south as in-form Castletown were held to a 4-4 home draw by winless Douglas & District.
