Prem challengers look to close gap on leaders Peel (Fixtures: 18-19 Jan)
This year's GH Corlett Woods Cup competition officially starts this weekend on the latest upcoming gameweek in Isle of Man football.
Six Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2 teams are entered into the first round proper of the competition with all three matches being held tomorrow (18 January).
Included in those clashes, table-toppers Braddan host in-form Governors Athletic whilst Douglas High School Old Boys (Dhsob.) - second in the league currently - welcome winless Douglas & District.
Elsewhere, high-flying Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.) travel to Malew.
Meanwhile, league fixtures across the men's senior divisions also continue on Saturday.
In the Canada Life Men's Premier League, second-placed Ayre United and third-placed Corinthians have the chance to close the gap at least temporarily on league leaders Peel who have a rest week.
Both Ayre and Corinthians could go to within three points of the westerners should they take maximum points against Union Mills and St George's respectively.
