Higgins double and Murray strike earns victory at The Bowl
FC Isle of Man have made a positive start to their pre-season schedule with a 3-1 victory over National League North side Brackley Town on Friday night (5 July).
The visiting side - based three leagues above 'The Ravens' - took the lead three minutes before half-time courtesy of Gareth Dean's header from a Scott Pollock free-kick.
Five minutes after the restart a quickfire double from FC Isle of Man's Charlie Higgins put the Manx side 2-1 up before the returning Luke Murray netted a third for the hosts on 74 minutes.
Speaking to FC Isle of Man's club media at full-time, manager Paul Jones says he was pleased with many aspects of his team's performance:
FC Isle of Man face their second pre-season test this coming Saturday (13 July).
They will face NWCFL Division One North Side Ashton Town at the Ballacloan Stadium in Ramsey, kicking-off at 4pm.
