Good Friday's G.H. Corlett Woods Cup Final between Ayre and Douglas Royal has been switched away from The Bowl and will now be played at Ballacloan Stadium in Ramsey.
The Cu Plas F.A. Cup Final on Easter Monday between St. George's and Rushen is still scheduled to take place at The Bowl.....but Castletown is on standby.
A decision will be made tomorrow morning after a pitch inspection.
Sports Editor Tim Glover reports:-
The playing surface at The Bowl was widely criticised before, during and after Saturday's F.A. Cup semi-final between St. Mary's and St. George's.
Indeed, Geordies Manager Chris Bass described it as a "disgrace" and called for the Final to be switched to another venue.
The F.A. met last night at their headquarters at The Bowl to make the latest decisions with the pitch outside waterlogged - the overnight and morning snow will not have helped.
Even if things dry up.....there must be a question over how much pitch preparation will be possible over the Easter holidays ahead of Monday's showdown.
