Dunlop and Todd to take on 100km of Champions race

Annual event is hosted by racing legend Valentino Rossi

Isle of Man TT Races stars Michael Dunlop and Davey Todd have been invited to take part in a prestigious race in Europe this weekend.

Both are set to be involved in the 100km of Champions race which is hosted by motorcycle racing legend Valentino Rossi.

Also due to attend is an extensive list of top riders from the likes of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 as well as the world and British superbike championships and Rossi himself.

The race will be held at Rossi's VR46 Ranch in Tavullia, Italy tomorrow and Saturday (10-11 January).

This year saw Dunlop become the most successful rider of all time at the Isle of Man TT - claiming four wins in 2024 to move onto 29 TT victories in total and in the process eclipsing the long-standing benchmark of 26 wins set by his uncle Joey Dunlop.

Meanwhile, it was a breakthrough year for Todd on the Snaefell Mountain Course as he bagged his first two TT wins - firstly in the Superstock TT Race 1 before claiming top spot in the iconic Senior TT.

The duo make up two of four British riders involved in 2025 along with Ryan Vickers and Tim Neave.

Included also in the star-studded list for this weekend's event are the likes of two-time MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia; seven-time MotoGP race winner Enea Bastianini and three-time MotoGP race winners Marco Bezzecchi and Franco Morbidelli.
