Manxman confirms move in YouTube announcement
Isle of Man pro cyclist Tyler Hannay has joined a new UCI Continental team for the 2025 season.
Speaking on a recent episode on his YouTube channel, the Island rider confirmed he'll compete for 7 Eleven Kliqq Roadbike Philippines in the latest campaign.
Describing this latest impending move as a 'new experience' and a 'new culture', the 21-year-old's move comes after leaving UK-based Saint Piran, which announced in December 2024 it won't be racing this season.
With his previous squad, last season saw Hannay claim his first ever UCI stage win, finishing first on stage six of the Tour of Poyang Lake in China on 8 September, 2024.
He also finished inside the top ten overall in both the youth and points classifications for the same meeting.
Among his other notable performances in the previous campaign was 12th-placed finish in the Under-23 individual time trial and a top-25 placing in the elite men's road race at the British national championships in June.
Elsewhere in Europe he also claimed fifth spot in the youth classification for the Tour of Hellas in Greece in May 2024.
